Puff pastry requires about 3-4 hours to cook. Puff pastry can be cooked in advance and stored in the freezer for a long time.

Recipe Ingredients

Wheat Flour 250 g
Water 125 g
Butter 185 g
Salt 5 g

Cooking Recipe

For puff pastry, add salt and warm water to the sifted flour. Knead the dough, but not too steep.

In a separate bowl, grind the butter with 3 tablespoons of flour, form a rectangle and chill for 30 minutes.

Roll out the dough in the shape of a rectangle, while the edges should be slightly thinner and the middle thicker. Put prepared butter on top of the dough. Join the edges of the dough into an envelope and roll out. Roll up again in an envelope, wrap with foil and put in the cold for 30 minutes.

After the dough has stood in the cold, it must be rolled out, rolled into an envelope and put back in the cold for 30 minutes. In total, the puff pastry must be rolled up and placed in the cold 6 times. Puff pastry perfectly retains its properties when frozen.
