Cooking Recipe

For the sardine puff recipe, take the puff pastry out of the refrigerator beforehand if it is frozen. Remove the sardines from the jar and cut into halves, removing the backbone.

Roll out the defrosted puff pastry to a thickness of 0.5 cm, and then cut it into rectangles the size of half a sardine, approximately 3.5x5.5 cm. Put the sardine halves on the rectangles from the dough, connect the lower ends of the dough, put one on top of the other, and leave the upper ones open. Get a sardine in a bag.

The edge of the dough can be fixed with the cloves of a fork, or you can use your fingers. Put the prepared sardines in a puff on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, brush with egg and put in an oven preheated to 220°C (430°F). Bake sardines in puff pastry for 15-20 minutes.
