Cooking Recipe
To cook a recipe of English cuisine Yorkshire pudding, beat the eggs into a glass or mug, measure the height of the beaten eggs in the glass. Then measure out the same amount of milk and the same amount of flour. While whisking the milk with the eggs, gradually add the flour. Spread the baking dish with vegetable oil and place in an oven preheated to 200°C (390°F) for about 20 minutes so that the form warms up well. Pour the dough into the preheated form so that it fills the form a little less than half, and place in the oven preheated to 180°С (355°F) for 15-20 minutes.
Separately, a sauce of onion, meat broth is cooked for the Yorkshire pudding and seasoned with curry powder. Peel and finely chop the onion, heat the oil in a frying pan, put the onion and fry until soft over low heat. When the onion becomes soft and changes color to transparent, pour in the broth and mix. Then add curry powder, black pepper and salt. Simmer the sauce over low heat until the onion is dark and the consistency of the sauce is slightly viscous.
Pudding can be cooked in one large baking dish, or in small forms. Don't worry that Yorkshire pudding falls off after taking it out of the oven - this is normal. Properly cooked pudding with the correct flour to liquid ratio should fall off. Put the sauce on a plate, put the pudding on top and serve.
