Cooking Recipe

For the fried stuffed tomatoes in pea batter recipe, cut off the stem base of each tomato and carefully scoop out the middle with a tea or coffee spoon. Next, turn the tomatoes over onto a plate lined with a napkin and let the liquid drain.

Crumble cottage cheese and mix with finely chopped herbs and spices. Stuff the tomatoes with the mixture.

In a separate bowl, mix pea flour, hot red pepper, salt and baking powder. Gradually add cold water to the bowl with pea flour, the mixture should turn out to be creamy.

Pour about 7-8 cm of vegetable oil into a deep frying pan and heat it up. When the oil is well heated, dip the stuffed tomatoes into it and fry on all sides for about for 1 minute.

After frying, transfer the stuffed tomatoes to a paper towel, let the fat drain and serve while the stuffed tomatoes are still warm.
