Tomato juice – a food preservation recipe for the winter, for juice you need to choose extremely ripe tomatoes, all defects from the tomatoes are cut out. After capping, turn over the cans of tomato juice, cover with a blanket and allow to cool completely. You can store tomato juice in the pantry. You can make soup from such tomato juice, add it to main courses or cook sauces based on it. Tomato juice can also be consumed as a drink by adding salt and black pepper.

To cook a tomato juice recipe, select ripe tomatoes, wash them well and dry them. If there are defects in the tomatoes, they should be cut out. Cut the prepared tomatoes into small pieces.

To obtain juice, cut tomatoes are passed through a juicer or a meat grinder with a special attachment.

Pour tomato juice into an enamel bowl and put on medium heat. Boil the tomato juice for 12-15 minutes, until the foam disappears. Then, while still hot, pour the tomato juice into sterilized jars. Cover the jars with lids and put them in a saucepan with water heated to 70°C (160°F). Sterilize tomato juice 0.5 L – 8-10 minutes, 1L – 10-12 minutes, 3L – 15 minutes. Then seal and cool under a blanket.
