Nezhinsky cucumber salad – a cucumbers preservation recipe for the winter, we often buy several kilograms of cucumbers for preservation. It does not always happen that the cucumbers are all one to one, there are twisted ones, so they can be used to make a salad for the winter from cucumbers. If the cucumbers are large, cut them in half lengthwise, and then into plates 3 mm thick.

Cucumbers 1.2 kg
Onion 750 g
Dill 20 g
Bay Leaf 3 pcs
Allspice 15 pcs
Black Pepper 15 pcs
Salt 4.5 tsp
Sugar 3 tsp
Vinegar 9% 6 tbsp

Cooking Recipe

To cook a food preservation recipe for the winter Nezhinsky cucumber salad, peel the onion and cut into half rings 3 mm thick. Wash the dill, dry it and chop finely.

Wash the cucumbers, cut the small ones into 3 mm thick slices, if large, cut them in half, and then cut them into 3 mm thick slices.

Put pepper, bay leaf in sterilized jars and put chopped onions, cucumbers and dill in layers.

When the jars are full, add salt and sugar, pour in vinegar and pour hot water, without adding 1.5 cm to the top. Cover the jars with Nezhinsky salad of cucumbers with lids, let stand for 20 minutes, and then sterilize. 0.5 L cans are sterilized – 10 minutes, and 1 L – 12 minutes. Seal the sterilized Nezhin cucumber salad immediately.
