Three citrus vodka - a recipe for a drink from French cuisine, this drink resembles Limoncello, but is made not from lemons, but from other citruses and not from one, but three different citruses. There is one more difference between this drink and Limoncello. The Italian drink uses only zest, but this one also uses citrus juice, which makes the drink less alcoholic. And it is precisely because of this that such vodka cannot be kept in the freezer all the time, it will freeze. Place the vodka in the freezer 1 hour before serving.

Recipe Ingredients

Grapefruit 2 pcs
Orange 1 pcs
Lime 1 pcs
Vodka 625 ml
Sugar 100 g

Cooking Recipe

The recipe for three citrus vodka is very simple. Measure out vodka and sugar. Wash citrus fruits well with a brush and dry.

Using a vegetable peeler, carefully remove the peel from the citrus fruit. Then mash the citrus fruits, cut them in half and squeeze out the juice. Mix sugar, citrus juice and zest in a saucepan.

Place over medium heat and bring the syrup to a boil, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has completely dissolved. When the syrup has cooled, pour it into a jar of vodka, cover with a lid and set aside in a dark place for 7 days.

After the time has passed, strain the three citrus vodka. This will be the first time you strain through a sieve, this will remove the zest and flakes from the juice.

Then strain again using a cotton pad. This procedure will take more time. Pour the strained vodka into a bottle, close the lid and place in the freezer. After 1 hour you can serve.
