Cheese cookies is a traditional French dish. Tender, crunchy, slightly salty, cheese biscuits can be a wonderful snack.

Recipe Ingredients

Wheat Flour 1 cup
Hard Cheese 1 cup
Butter 125 g
Salt 1.5 tsp

Cooking Recipe

For cheese cookies, you need to mix flour, salt and pepper. Pour the mixture on the board, put the grated cheese and frozen butter on top. Using a knife, chop everything well and quickly knead the dough with your hands. Roll the dough into a ball, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

On a lightly floured board, roll out the chilled dough into a 0.5 cm thick layer. Then cut into strips of 1.5x7 cm.

Place prepared cheese cookies on a greased baking sheet and bake at 220°C (430°F) for 8-10 minutes. Can be served both cold and hot.
