Raspberry in cherry jelly – a recipe for Russian cuisine, fresh raspberries go very well with cherry jelly. In this recipe, it is quite possible to experiment and replace cherries, for example, with red currants.

Recipe Ingredients

Cherry 400 g
Raspberries 300 g
Sugar 200 g
Water 500 ml
Gelatin 20 g

Cooking Recipe

For the recipe of Russian cuisine raspberries in cherry jelly, remove the pits from the cherries and squeeze the juice with a juicer or rub the pulp through a sieve. Pour the pulp and pomace with hot water, bring to a boil and squeeze.

Combine the decoction with juice - you should get at least 750 ml of liquid. Gelatin pour 50 ml of hot water, let it dissolve for 10 minutes, and then bring to a boil.

Pour the prepared gelatin into the juice and mix. Fill the molds with jelly, but not to the brim, so that there is room for raspberries. Refrigerate the jelly until it hardens.

When the jelly hardens, put fresh raspberries on top of it, pour in the rest of the jelly and put it back in the cold until completely solidified. Before serving, lower the form with raspberry jelly into warm water for 30 seconds, and then transfer to a dish.
