Cooking Recipe

To cooked a recipe German cuisine wafer rolls, remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance - it should be softened, so it will be easier to combine with the rest of the ingredients. Place softened butter in a food processor and beat until fluffy. When the butter brightens, without ceasing to beat, beat one egg at a time into the butter. When the mixture becomes homogeneous, add sugar, but not immediately, but gradually, pouring it into a bowl with butter and eggs.

Leave the food processor on while beating the dough while adding ground cinnamon and chopped cardamom. Sift the flour and literally spoon it into the bowl with the rest of the food. The food processor can be switched to a slow speed and can be turned off when the dough is smooth. Then pour water into the dough and stir again; when pouring in water, the bowl of the combine may be too full, so the dough can be mixed with a whisk or spoon.

The dough for wafer rolls should be quite runny, similar to pancake dough, maybe slightly denser. The density of the dough can be adjusted by adding either water or flour. Cover the prepared dough with foil and set aside to rest for 30-40 minutes. Heat the waffle iron and brush it with vegetable oil or fresh bacon. You don't need a lot of oil, pour oil into a dish, dip a brush and grease a waffle iron with it. Using a scoop, pour the dough into the middle of the waffle iron, press and bake until tender. Roll up the waffles while still hot.
