Ground cinnamon

Ground cinnamon is ground cinnamon sticks chopped in any way possible; ground cinnamon is widely used in cooking. Although cinnamon is ground and sold more often than cinnamon in sticks, in order for dishes with cinnamon to have a unique aroma, it is better to buy cinnamon in sticks and prepare cinnamon ground by yourself, for example, rubbing cinnamon sticks on a grater before use.
