Virgin Mojito or Nojito – a recipe for a summer refreshing drink, non-alcoholic mojito is cooked in the same way as alcoholic, but without adding rum. Sometimes sprite or tonic is added to non-alcoholic mojito instead of carbonated water – this way the taste of lime becomes more pronounced, but even with ordinary carbonated water it turns out very tasty. The most important thing in cooking any mojito is not to crush lime into porridge, otherwise its skin will let out bitterness, and the mojito can be spoiled.

Recipe Ingredients

Lime 1 pcs
Sugar 4 tsp
Mint 1 bunch

Cooking Recipe

To cook a Virgin Mojito or Nojito recipe, wash the lime, cut it in half, and then into thin slices. The lime should make about 8-10 slices. Wash the mint, dry it and separate the leaves from the stems.

Add 4-5 lime slices to a tall glass, add sugar and mash to let the lime juice, but do not crush it, the bitterness from the lime peel may go. Place a few mint leaves on your palm and slap the other – this will give the mint a scent.

Add mint to a glass with lime and sugar, you can also slightly crush. Next, fill the glass with ice and pour in sparkling water. Mix everything, decorate Virgin Mojito with a mint leaf or flower and serve with a straw.
