Alcohol 96,7% 250 ml
Water 150 ml
Sugar 200 g

Cooking Recipe

The recipe for basil liqueur is very simple. Wash the basil and dry well. You do not need to separate the leaves, basil is used together with the stems.

Place basil in a jar and pour alcohol. Cover the jar with a lid and place in a cool, dark place for 20 days. This process is called maceration.

After the time has elapsed, prepare a syrup from water and sugar. Pour sugar into the water, mix and put on medium heat. Bring the syrup to a boil, remove from heat and let cool. Pour the cooled syrup into a jar of basil, cover and set aside for another 20 days.

Strain the finished basil liqueur through a sieve into another jar, and then pour into bottles. Place liquor in the refrigerator for a few days. Serve the aromatic basil liqueur as a digestive liqueur after meals.
