Mint Sherbet – a recipe for Azerbaijani cuisine, dried mint sherbet is prepared with the addition of cherry plum juice or lemon juice. If there is no cherry plum juice, you can add lemon juice in an amount of 15 ml. and submit.
Mint Sherbet Ingredients
- Dried mint 5 g
- Water 250 ml
- Sugar 30 g
- Cherry plum juice 60 ml
Mint Sherbet Recipe
For the mint sherbet recipe, divide the water into two parts. Boil one part of the water, add mint and cook for 5 minutes. Then cover with a lid and let it brew for 15 minutes.
Boil the rest of the water and dissolve the sugar in it.
Strain mint tea into sugar syrup, mix and cool.
Pour cherry plum juice into chilled sherbet, if there is no cherry plum juice, you can add lemon juice in an amount of 15 ml. and submit.
