Apple butter – a recipe for Ukrainian cuisine, butter from apples is probably prepared in every country where apples grow. How to cook apple butter so that it is delicious? Very simple! Well-boiled apple butter can be used for filling when making pies, bagels or pies. Apple butter can also be used for breakfast instead of jam, spreading their bread and butter on a sandwich. To make butter from apples look more interesting, you can put it in molds, and after cooling, transfer it to a storage container.
Cooking Recipe
For the recipe of Ukrainian cuisine Apple Butter, wash the fruit, remove the core and boil in a double boiler or in a water bath.
When the jam apples become soft, grind them through a sieve and put on medium heat. You should get 1 kg of applesauce.
After 10-15 minutes, add sugar to the applesauce and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and cook the apple jam, stirring constantly, until the volume is reduced by 1/4. Then transfer the butter from apples to glass jars and let it cool completely.
Cooled apple butter cover with wax paper, tie with twine and set aside for storage in a dry place.
