Quince jam - a recipe for Uzbek cuisine, quince jam has a very beautiful color and wonderful aroma. You can cut the quince as you like, you can also use a curly knife. If you try quince jam at least once, you will cook it all the time. It's really very tasty.

Cooking Recipe

To cook recipe of Uzbek cuisine quince jam, wash quince fruits well, peel, cut into 4 parts and remove seed pods. Cut the quince into slices about 5 mm thick and pour in water so that it just covers the quince. Put the pot with quince on a strong heat, and when the water boils, reduce the fire and cook until the quince becomes soft.

Remove the boiled quince with a slotted spoon, and strain the broth. Pour sugar into 1.5 cups of broth, mix and put on fire.

5 minutes after the syrup boils, add quince and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 1-1.5 hours.

By this time, the quince slices will become transparent, and the syrup and the quince itself will change color, becoming red. At the end of cooking, add vanilla sugar to quince jam, mix and arrange in jars for storage. Quince can be stored in the refrigerator or in the pantry.
