Crucian carp in sour cream sauce is a recipe of Ukrainian cuisine, crucian carp are covered with a layer of potatoes and poured with separately cooked sour cream sauce.

Wheat Flour 1 tbsp
Vegetable Oil 3 tbsp

Sour Cream 3 tbsp
Broth 200 ml

Butter 1 tbsp

Cooking Recipe

For the crucian carp in sour cream sauce recipe, clean the fish without cutting off the head, cut the belly, gut, remove the gills and rinse well. Salt and pepper the prepared carp, roll in flour and fry in vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown. After frying, lay the fish on a greased pan, cover with peeled and sliced potatoes.

To cook the sour cream sauce, lightly fry the flour in butter, stirring with a whisk, and dilute with hot broth. Without ceasing to interfere, pour in sour cream, salt and boil at a low boil for 2-3 minutes.

After the sauce is cooked, it must be filtered. Pour the crucian carp with sour cream sauce, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and place in a preheated oven to 180°C (355°F). Bake crucian carp in sour cream sauce for 50-60 minutes.
