Parsnip and apple salad – salad recipe. It is a pity, but parsnips in cooking are often used only as a root for making soups and various broths. Fresh juicy parsnips are very good in salads, they are in no way inferior to celery - some people do not really like celery because of the taste and smell, and the taste of parsnips is much milder.

Parsnip 130 g
Apples 150 g
Mayonnaise 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice 1 tsp
Parsley 1-2 twigs

Cooking Recipe

For the parsnip and apple salad recipe, wash, peel and coarsely grate the parsnips. Wash the apple and also grate on a coarse grater.

In a salad bowl, mix grated parsnip with apple, salt, pepper, sprinkle with lemon juice, add mayonnaise and mix. When serving salad, sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.
