Pumpkin puree is the basis for many dishes. You can buy pumpkin puree at the store, but it's not that difficult to make. After grinding in a blender, the puree can be rubbed through a sieve. You can store the puree in the refrigerator, but not for long 10-12 days, but to keep it longer you can freeze it in small portions.

The recipe for pumpkin puree is very simple. Wash the pumpkin, cut in half and remove the seeds. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Cut the pumpkin into slices and place on a baking sheet, cover the top of the pumpkin with foil.

Bake the pumpkin in an oven preheated to 180-200°C (355-390°F) for 30-40 minutes or until it is tender. Remove the pumpkin from the oven, peel off the skin and chop as desired. Transfer the pumpkin to a blender and grind into a puree. Pumpkin puree can be stored in the refrigerator for 10-15 days or can be frozen in small portions.
