Anchovy pizza is one of the traditional recipes for such a simple but very tasty dish as Italian pizza.

Recipe Ingredients

Anchovy 8-10 pcs
Hard Cheese 100 g
For Dough
Wheat Flour 250 g
Water 150 ml
Olive Oil 1.5 tbsp
Dry Yeast 1 tsp
Sugar 1 pinch
Salt 1 pinch
For Sauce
Tomatoes 1-2 pcs
Basil 1-2 leaves
Oregano 1-2 leaves
Olive Oil 1 tsp

Cooking Recipe

For the anchovy pizza recipe, dissolve yeast in warm water and mix with sugar, salt and olive oil. Gradually adding flour, knead the elastic dough. Cover the dough with cling film and leave in heat for 30-40 minutes.

While the dough is rising, you can prepare the sauce. Remove the skin from the tomatoes and use a blender to mix with basil, oregano and olive oil until smooth. After the pizza sauce, season with salt and pepper.

Roll out the risen pizza dough to the size of a baking sheet, pierce with a fork in several places and spread the sauce evenly. Sprinkle the sauce on top with grated cheese and spread the anchovies over the entire surface. Bake anchovy pizza at 200°C (390°F) for 30 minutes.
