Crostini with mussels and cherry tomatoes – a recipe for an Italian sandwich appetizer. In this recipe, I cheated a little and used mussels not in shells. You must admit, we do not always make puff pastry ourselves to make some delicious thing. We save time and buy puff pastry in the store. So here, mussels need to be cleaned well before cooking, but there is not always time for this. Therefore, I used peeled, frozen mussels. Yes, stones will be thrown at me now, but any working person will understand when it is not always possible to buy freshly caught seafood, if it is easier to buy frozen and when you need to use it. But if you decide to use mussels in shells, then pour olive oil, wine, a clove of garlic into a pan, add mussels, cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes over high heat until the valves open. And you will use this liquid further when preparing the recipe.
