Marzipan – a delicious confectionery made from almonds and sugar syrup. In Germany, for example, marzipan is traditionally cooked for Christmas for Stollen. Candies, cake decorations and even liquor are also cooked from marzipan.

Recipe Ingredients

Almonds 1 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Water 1/4 cups

Cooking Recipe

For cook marzipan, add the nuts in boiling water and boil for 2 minutes.

Put the nuts in a colander, let the water drain. After the almonds have cooled, peel it.

Rinse almonds with cold water and fry in a hot pan. Fry the almonds for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

Put the nuts in a blender and chop until mashed. You can do this with a hand blender.

Dissolve sugar in water and put on heat. Cook sugar syrup over low heat until the syrup thickens slightly.
