Bilberries Sauce – french cuisine recipe with bilberries, balsamic vinegar and honey. You can also prepare the sauce from frozen fruits, they must first be thawed, this can be done in the microwave. The honey in the sauce can be replaced with maple syrup or other thick syrup. This sauce is very good for beef, chicken or pork.

Recipe Ingredients

Bilberries 200 g
Grape Juice 2 tbsp
Honey 2 tbsp
Corn Starch 0,5 tsp

Cooking Recipe

The recipe for bilberries sauce is very simple. Dilute cornstarch in grape juice. Use dark grape juice. If grape juice is not available, apple juice can be substituted.

Berries mixed with balsamic vinegar and honey. Put the berries on a low heat and crush the berries constantly mix. When the berries are well let the juice, increase the heat to medium and cook, stirring for another 5 minutes.

Remove sauce from heat, add diluted starch and cool occasionally stirring. Serve the sauce warm.
