Fried bun with vegetables and tuna - a recipe for Jewish cuisine, tender, airy and at the same time crispy buns. The buns can be filled with any vegetables you like. Tuna can be replaced with other fish or meat. If you did not use all the buns at once, you can then reheat them, fill them and serve. Great snack for Hanukkah.

Water 1,25 cups
Sugar 1,5 tbsp

Olive Oil 0,25 cups

Cooking Recipe

The recipe for fried bun with vegetables and tuna is very simple. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and gradually add water to knead the dough. Pour olive oil into the container where the dough will rise, place the dough, cover and set aside for 1 hour. Then knead the dough and set aside again for an hour.

While the dough is rising, prepare the ingredients for the filling. Boil the eggs, peel and cut into 4 parts. Boil the potatoes in their skins, peel and cut as desired. Cut cucumbers and tomatoes as desired.

Knead the risen dough and divide into 11-12 balls. Cut out squares from baking paper and place dough balls on it. Cover the dough and let rise.

While the dough is rising, pour 5 cm of vegetable oil into a deep frying pan and put on fire. Fry buns in oil on both sides and place on a paper towel. Make cuts in the buns and fill them with vegetables and tuna, pour over ketchup and serve warm.
