Pickled green onions - a Korean cuisine recipe made from green onions and soy sauce marinade. You can also add hot pepper to the marinade, so the green onions will be even more interesting. Pickled green onions are a great appetizer for rice or meat.

Recipe Ingredients

Green Onions 300 g
Soy Sauce 150 ml
Water 80 ml
Sugar 0,5 tbsp

Cooking Recipe

The recipe for pickled green onions is very simple. Wash and dry the onion. Mix soy sauce, sugar and water in a bowl. When the sugar dissolves, roll the onion and put it in a bowl.

Place a saucer and weight on top of the onion, a mortar would be great. Leave the onion for a day, turning it over periodically so that it is all under the marinade.

The next day, green onions, combine three or four at a time, and twist the tails. Transfer the prepared onions to a sterilized jar, pour in the sauce and refrigerate for two days.
