Recipe Ingredients

Garlic 1 head
Ginger 5 cm
Green Onions 1 bunch
Purple Onion 2 pcs
Fish Sauce 2 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Salt 250 g

Cooking Recipe

The recipe for quick homemade kimchi is very simple. First, prepare all the products. Wash the cabbage and cut lengthwise into four pieces. Peel the onion and ginger, wash and dry the green onions.

The most important thing is to salt the cabbage well so that it becomes soft and at the same time juicy. Cut the cabbage into large pieces and sprinkle with salt and place in a large container. Set the cabbage aside for 1 hour.

In a separate bowl, prepare the sauce for the cabbage. Cut the onion into half rings, chop the green onion about 4-5 cm. Finely chop or grate the ginger, do the same with the garlic. Add the rest of the spices and stir.

When the cabbage becomes soft and completely salted, it must be rinsed under running water to remove excess salt. Mix the cabbage with the sauce and transfer to a container with a lid. Kimchi is basically already ready, but if you leave it for at least a day it will become even tastier.
