Garlic green beans - a Korean recipe, an excellent side dish for rice. In Korea, such beans appeared not so long ago, but once they tried it, the Koreans appreciated all the usefulness and taste of green beans. Now green beans can be seen on the table in every family. The most important thing is to cook the beans correctly so that they are not too hard or too soft. You need to strictly monitor the cooking time.

Recipe Ingredients

String Beans 450 g
Garlic 8-12 cloves
Onion 1 pcs
Soy Sauce 3 tbsp
Vegetable Oil 1 tbsp
Sesame Oil 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp

Cooking Recipe

The recipe for garlic green beans is very simple. Pour 3 cups of water into a saucepan, add salt and bring to a boil. Cut the beans in half, add to boiling water and cover with a lid. Cook the beans over medium heat for 7 minutes. Transfer the finished beans to a sieve, leaving 2 tbsp. decoction.

Peel the garlic and cut into thin slices. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and add chopped garlic. Stirring, fry the garlic until slightly golden brown.

Add boiled beans, chopped onion into half rings to the garlic in a frying pan, pour in the bean broth that was left in advance. Pour in soy sauce, stir and simmer over medium heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally.

When the liquid has completely evaporated, remove from heat and pour in sesame oil. Mix everything and place on a plate. Green beans are ready, they can be served warm or cold.
