Potato rösti is a Swedish recipe that is very easy and quick to cook. In combination with cooked sauce, rösti becomes tender and juicy.

Recipe Ingredients

Potatoes 1 kg
Salo 120 g
Cream 15% 150 ml
Milk 150 ml
Chicken Eggs 2 pcs

Cooking Recipe

For the potato rösti recipe, boil the potatoes in their skins, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Salo finely cut and fry. Combine lard with potatoes and salt.

Form a cake from the potato mass and fry on one side in a pan. Then invert onto a baking sheet and bake at 200°C (390°F) for 30-40 minutes. In a separate bowl, beat eggs with milk, cream and nutmeg. Add salt and pour this sauce over ready, still hot, potato rösti.
