Pumpkin Soup (Garbuzok) – recipe for pumpkin soup of Belarusian cuisine with the addition of whey and celery greens. Lard can be replaced with butter.

For the Pumpkin Soup (Garbuzok) recipe, peel the pumpkin, remove the seeds and cut into small cubes. Pour the cut pumpkin with water and whey, salt and put on medium heat for 20 minutes.
Peel the onion, finely chop and fry in vegetable oil. In a separate bowl, grind the fat with cumin.
5 minutes before the soup is ready, add finely chopped celery and dill, fried onion and grated fat to the pot with pumpkin. Serve garbuzok soup hot, sprinkled with chopped herbs.
