Chicken soup with peas and apples – a peculiar, but very tasty recipe for American soup. Green peas can be used frozen. It is better to use sour apples, they will give the soup a bright taste.

The recipe for chicken soup with peas and apples is very simple. Peel the onion, cut into half rings and fry in vegetable oil with the addition of flour.

Then add 200 ml of broth to the onion and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes. Bring the remaining broth to a boil, add the fillet, peas, apples cut into thin slices, and cook until the fillet is ready.

When the chicken fillet is completely cooked, add the fried onion with broth, salt, pepper and cook for another 5 minutes.

Before serving, remove the chicken fillet from the soup and cut into pieces. Transfer the chopped fillet to a plate, pour soup, garnish with herbs, cream and serve.
