For the chikhirtma recipe, finely chop the onion and simmer in a saucepan with butter until golden brown. Then pour in the broth and bring to a boil.

Dilute the flour in a small amount of broth with the addition of vinegar, salt, cinnamon and pepper. Pour the prepared flour into the soup, stir and cook for 15 minutes.

Remove soup from heat and season with beaten egg. When serving in chihirtma, sprinkle with chopped herbs, if desired, you can add citric acid.
