For fish hodgepodge according to the recipe of Belarusian cuisine in a deep saucepan, heat half the butter, add chopped cabbage, pour 0.5 cups of water, mix and simmer over low heat for 40 minutes.

Cut the fish into portions, add water and cook over medium heat for 20-30 minutes. In a frying pan, heat 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, add finely chopped onion (1 pc.) And fry it until transparent. Add the fried onion, tomato paste, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper to the stewed cabbage. Mix everything and simmer for another 20 minutes.

After the time has elapsed, pour the fried flour into the cabbage, mix and heat for 3-4 minutes. Heat the remaining butter in a frying pan, fry one finely chopped onion on it. Peel cucumbers and cut into cubes.

In a separate pan, put the chopped cucumbers, sauteed onions, pour in the strained fish broth and cook for 10-15 minutes over low heat. After that, add pre-boiled and chopped potatoes, stewed cabbage, pieces of fish to the pan. Pour water or fish broth 3-5 cm above the food into soup, bring to a boil and simmer for 10 -12 minutes.
