Tuna briouats - a Moroccan recipe, briouats can be with any filling (fish, meat, vegetables, etc.). Tuna can be replaced with any other fish, canned in its own juice or in oil.

Recipe Ingredients

Tuna in Oil 400 g
Butter 1 tbsp
Onion 2 pcs
Garlic 1 clove
Parsley 4-5 twigs
Vegetable Oil 250 ml
For Dough
Wheat Flour 400 g
Milk 200 ml
Eggs 1 pcs

Cooking Recipe

For tuna briouats of flour, milk, egg and salt, knead the dough and set aside for 30 minutes. After dividing the dough into 4 parts and roll out very thinly (1 mm). Cut the rolled dough into strips 25 in length and 10 in width. Fold one edge of the strip into a triangle, put the filling inside the triangle. Fold the dough into a triangle, and fill the edge into the slot.

For the filling, finely chop the onion and fry with finely chopped parsley and spices in butter. Fry the onion for 15 minutes, then add the tuna and stir.

Prepared briouats fry in hot vegetable oil for 1 minute on each side. Serve tuna briouats on lettuce leaves and drizzle with lemon juice.
