Albanian liver (Arnavut Ciğeri) - a recipe for Turkish cuisine, the liver is very tender, soft and served with a salad of onions and herbs.

Recipe Ingredients

Lamb Liver 500 g
Wheat Flour 0.5 cup
Onion 3 pcs
Parsley 1 bunch
Salt 1 tsp

Cooking Recipe

For the Albanian liver recipe, peel the onion and cut into strips. Slightly crush the chopped onion so that the bitterness comes out, rinse and set aside to let the water glass. When all the water drains from the onion, mix it with finely chopped parsley and set aside.

Peel the liver from films and cut into small cubes, a little more than a walnut. Sprinkle chopped liver with paprika and mix. Then roll the liver in flour and fry in hot vegetable oil. Fry the liver, stirring occasionally, for 1-2 minutes.

Salt the fried liver, put on a dish and serve hot with a pre-prepared onion salad. Also, when serving Albanian liver, you can garnish with lettuce, parsley, tomato or lemon slices.
