Baked fish with vegetables – Bulgarian cuisine recipe, fish is baked on a bed of pre-stewed vegetables. Any river or sea fish can be suitable for this recipe. If there is no clay pot, you can take glassware or a baking dish.

Recipe Ingredients

Fish 800 g
Tomatoes 1 pcs
Mushrooms 50 g
Onion 1 pcs
Hot Pepper 2 pcs
Carrots 1 pcs
Parsley 3-4 twigs
Vegetable Oil 3 tbsp

Cooking Recipe

For the baked fish with vegetables recipe, clean the fish, rinse, cut into portions and rub with salt. Finely chop the carrots and onions and sauté with celery until soft. Then add the peeled and chopped tomato, chopped cucumbers, hot peppers, paprika and finely chopped mushrooms. Mix everything and simmer for 5-7 minutes over medium heat.

Transfer the prepared vegetables to a clay pot, pre-oiled and put the pieces of fish on top. Pour the fish with wine and a little water and place in the oven. Bake fish at 200°C (390°F) for 30 minutes.
