Puff Pastry 250 g
Walnut 100 g
Sugar 250 g
Ground Cinnamon 0.5 tsp
Water 200 ml
Citric Acid 1 pinch

Cooking Recipe

For the "Baklava" cookies recipe, roll the finished puff pastry into a layer approximately 3 mm thick. Grind the peeled walnuts with cinnamon.

Put the filling of nuts on a layer of puff pastry and roll into a roll. Place the roll in a preheated 200°C (390°F) oven and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the finished roll from the oven and let cool.

Pour water into the sugar, mix and leave on medium heat, when the sugar dissolves, add a pinch of citric acid. Boil the syrup for another 10 minutes, and then cool.

Put the finished syrup on the roll. You need to apply in several stages, it is better to do it with a brush. When the syrup is completely applied to the roll, it must be cut into cookies, beautifully put the baklava on a dish and serve.
