Potatoes stuffed with liver is a dish according to the recipe of Belarusian cuisine. This dish is cooked very quickly and looks interesting.

For the liver stuffed potato recipe, boil the potatoes with their skins on, peel and remove the middle without cutting all the way through. Cut the liver into cubes and fry in melted lard with the addition of chopped onions. Stuff the potatoes with fried liver, put them tightly in a saucepan, pour over the sauce and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes.
To cook the sauce, fry the flour in a dry frying pan. When the flour acquires a slightly golden hue, gradually pour in the hot broth, mix well and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat. Then add the fried onion, bay leaf, salt and pepper. After 10 minutes, add sour cream, mix well, bring to a boil and remove from heat. Serve potatoes hot.
