Barley porridge with sour cream - a recipe for russian cuisine, tender and very tasty porridge, it used to be cooked in the oven, but barley porridge is also wonderful in the oven.

Recipe Ingredients

Milk 1 l
Sour Cream 1 cup
Butter 2 tbsp
Eggs 3 pcs
Salt 1 pinch

Cooking Recipe

For the recipe barley porridge with sour cream, rinse the grits well, drain the water. Bring milk to a boil, add barley groats into it, mix, cover and cook over low heat for 30-40 minutes. Then add sour cream, butter and mix.

Remove barley porridge from the heat and gradually add the beaten eggs and stir with a wooden spoon. Preheat the oven to 150-160°C (300-320°F) and bake the porridge in it for 15-20 minutes. After removing the barley porridge with sour cream from the oven, transfer to prepared plates and serve immediately.
