Beans with smoked meats - a recipe for Ukrainian cuisine, a very simple recipe. It’s impossible to come up with such a simple recipe, just add water, put it on fire and that’s it. The rest of the time is waiting to get ready. If you use fresh beans, the wait won't be long. In this recipe you can use any smoked meat, not just brisket, smoked ribs or any smoked meat will also work well. When serving, you can sprinkle with smoked paprika or smoked coriander.

The recipe for smoked beans is very simple. Peel one onion without chopping, and finely chop the other. Roughly chop the smoked brisket. It is better to cut smoked meats large. Soak the beans; if fresh, just rinse them well. Coarsely chop the carrots.

Place smoked meats, beans, peeled onions and chopped carrots into the pan. Pour in water until it covers all the food by 1-2 cm, cover with a lid and place on high heat. When the water boils, reduce the heat to medium and cook until the beans are completely cooked. Place the finished smoked beans on a plate, garnish with herbs, sprinkle with ground pepper, garnish with herbs and serve.
