Fekkas is a roll with two fillings, one of which is nut and the other is cocoa powder.

Recipe Ingredients

Wheat Flour 800-1000 г g
Chicken Eggs 8 pcs
Powdered Sugar 1.5 cups
Butter 350 g
Almonds 1 cup
Cocoa Powder 100 g

Cooking Recipe

For fekkas, you need to beat the eggs with powdered sugar and combine with melted butter. Mix flour with vanilla and baking powder. Gradually add flour to egg, sugar and butter mixture. Knead elastic dough.

Divide the dough in half and roll out into a layer 3-4 mm thick. Put cocoa on one layer, and roasted crushed almonds on the other.

Put one layer on top of the other and roll into a roll. Put the roll in the cold for 30 minutes.

Then cut the roll on the bias about 1 cm. Bake prepared fekkas at 200°C (390°F) 30 minutes until light golden color.
