Green soup with beef – a recipe for Georgian cuisine, the soup is very light and at the same time very satisfying, with a pleasant sourness. The egg is cut as you like, halves, quarters or circles.

Recipe Ingredients

Beef 1 kg
Onion 2 pcs
Spinach 100 g
Sorrel 100 g
Celery Root 100 g
Eggs 2-3 pcs
Water 2.5 l

Cooking Recipe

For the recipe of Georgian cuisine green soup beef, wash the meat, cut into small pieces, pour cold water over medium heat. After the water boils, reduce the heat and cook for 2-2.5 hours, periodically removing the foam.

Finely chop the onion and celery root and add to the pan when the meat is cooked.

In a separate saucepan, boil the chopped sorrel and spinach until mushy, about 20 minutes. When the greens are cooked, put them on a sieve, let the water drain, and then add to the meat.

Season the soup with salt, pepper, stir and simmer for 15 minutes. When serving in a bowl with green soup put hard-boiled and chopped eggs.
