Traditionally, lula kebab in Georgia is cooked from beef with the addition of barberry, which gives freshness and juiciness to the kebab.

Recipe Ingredients

Beef 1 kg
Barberry 0.5 cups
Eggs 2 pcs
Onion 2-3 pcs
Butter 3 tbsp

Cooking Recipe

To cook lula kebab, rinse the meat, cut into pieces and mince together with the onion.

Add egg, barberry, salt, pepper to the minced meat and mix everything well. Form thin sausages from the prepared minced meat and thread on a skewer.

Roll the prepared kebabs in breadcrumbs and fry in oil on all sides until golden brown. Serve lula kebab with vegetables, onions and herbs.
