For Viennese shortbread cookies, you need to mix flour with baking powder. Make a well in the center of the flour and pour in the egg yolks, melted butter, vanilla and sugar. Knead the dough and put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
After the time has elapsed, roll out the dough on a lightly floured board. The layer of dough should not be more than 1 cm. Cut out cookies from the dough, place on a dry baking sheet and bake at 180°C (355°F) 8-10 minutes.
After cookies is baked, remove the baking sheet from the oven and let stand for 5-10 minutes so that the cookies are a little hardened, and then transfer the shortbread cookies to a vase.
