French cracklings are a very easy recipe to cook, which includes a minimum of products and a minimum of effort.

Pork Belly 500 g
Lard 1 tbsp
Garlic 4 cloves
Dried Thyme 1 tsp
Red Wine 100 ml
Water 100 ml

Cooking Recipe

To cook the recipe of French cuisine cracklings, wash the pork belly and cut into small pieces, about 4x4 cm. Peel and crush the garlic, it is not necessary to cut it.

In a heated frying pan, melt the lard, put the chopped pork and fry until golden brown on all sides. Season the fried pork with salt and pepper.

Transfer the pork pieces to a deep baking sheet, add garlic, thyme, pour in the melted lard. Then add wine, water and bring to a boil.

Place the prepared cracklings in an oven preheated to 180°С (355°F) and cook for 2 hours. When the cracklings are ready, transfer them without liquid to a bowl and cool. Put cooled cracklings on fresh crispy bread, put fresh cucumbers on top and serve.
