"Aman's Ears" cookies is a dish of Jewish cuisine, a flour product, a delicious pastry from the cuisine of Israel. This cookie is also called "chomentash". For the hamantash filling, you can use any fruit or berry jam or powidla.

Sugar 200 g
Butter 200 g
Walnut 50 g

Powidla 150 g
Sugar 10 g

Cooking Recipe

The recipe for "Aman's Ears" cookies is very simple. Pour the melted butter into the flour, pour in the sugar, crushed nuts, beat in the eggs. Knead the dough and roll it into a layer of 3-4 mm, on a well-floured surface.

Cut out circles using the shape. In the middle of each mug put jam mixed with cinnamon and sugar.

Pinch the edges of the dough on both sides to make a triangle, while leaving the middle slightly open.

Brush cookies with egg and place in the oven. Bake at 250°C (480°F) for 20 minutes. Sprinkle the cooked and cooled cookies with powdered sugar.
