Torcetti cookies - a recipe for homemade Italian sweet biscuits served with cappuccino or coffee with milk.

Recipe Ingredients

Wheat Flour 250 g
Butter 100 g
Sugar 100 g
Salt 1 pinch

Cooking Recipe

For the Torchetti cookies recipe, mix the flour with the baking powder and sift. Grind flour with softened butter, salt and add 2-3 tbsp. warm water. Knead a soft smooth dough, let the dough stand for 10-15 minutes, and then form sticks 1 cm wide and 10 cm long.

Pour the sugar into a flat plate, roll the sticks in sugar and squeeze the ends, you should get a little oval products. Cover a baking sheet with parchment, put Torchetti cookies on it and bake at 180°C (355°F) for 10-15 minutes until light golden. After the cookies have cooled, serve.
