Cooking Recipe

The recipe for pork sausage with lentils is very simple. First you need to boil the pork sausage. If the sausage is ready, it needs to be cooked for 20 minutes, and if not, then 2 hours. All this is written on the packaging. Follow the instructions. When the cotechino is cooked, peel it and cut into slices.

While the sausage is cooking, you can make the lentils. Pour the lentils in cold water and set aside for 2 hours to swell, then drain the water and rinse the lentils in cold water. Peel the carrots and cut into small cubes. Peel the onion and also cut into small cubes.

Heat olive oil in a frying pan, add chopped vegetables and fry until slightly golden brown. Then add lentils and spices to the vegetables. Pour in the broth and cook for 20 minutes over medium heat, adding broth if necessary. Place lentils on a plate and sliced sausage on top.
