Recipe Ingredients

Pork Loin 2 kg
Garlic 1 clove
Dried Thyme 1/4 tsp
Ground Ginger 1/4 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
For the orange glaze
Orange Juice 1 cup
Brown Sugar 1/4 cups
Mustard 1 tbsp
Water 1/3 cups
Corn Starch 1 tbsp

Cooking Recipe

The recipe for pork loin in orange glaze is very simple. Mix all spices and grated garlic. Lubricate the pork loin with the prepared mixture, literally rubbing the mixture into the meat. Place the prepared loin on a baking sheet and place in an oven preheated to 180°C (355°F) and cook for 1 hour.

While the loin is cooking, prepare the orange glaze. Mix the starch with cold water, add the remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring. Reserve one cup of glaze for serving and brush the rest of the glaze over the loin. Cook the loin for another 40 minutes, brushing occasionally with the glaze. Insert a thermometer into the finished loin should be 60-65°C (145°F), give pork rest the loins for 10 minutes and then serve with the reserved warm orange sauce.
