Cooking Recipe
For the shepherd's pie recipe, rinse the lamb flesh and twist through a meat grinder or chop very finely. Peel onions and carrots and finely chop.
Peel potatoes, add water, salt and put on medium heat. Boil the potatoes until cooked, and then drain the water, and mix the potatoes with milk and butter until mashed.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan, add onions and carrots, mix and simmer over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Increase the heat, put the minced meat and, stirring, fry for 5 minutes. Then add the sauce, tomato paste, reduce the heat, mix and simmer for another 5 minutes. Next, pour in the hot broth, cover and simmer over medium heat for 40 minutes.
Put the prepared minced meat with liquid in an even layer in a baking dish. Cover the minced meat with potatoes, flatten and make waves with a fork. Place the form with pie in an oven preheated to 180°C (355°F) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Let the shepherd's pie stand for 5 minutes, and then serve it to the table in the same form in which it was baked.
