Smazhenka – small pizza, Belarusian cuisine recipe, yeast dough can be cooked by yourself, but you can also use and store bought dough.

Recipe Ingredients

Ham 200 g
Hard Cheese 200 g
Basil 1 tsp

Wheat Flour 500 g
Water 300 ml
Vegetable Oil 3 tbsp
Dry Yeast 2 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt 1.5 tsp

Cooking Recipe

For the smazhenka recipe, dilute the yeast in warm water, add sugar, salt, butter and gradually add flour, knead the dough. Cover the dough and put in heat for 1 hour.

Roll out the risen dough thinly and cut out circles with a diameter of 15 cm.

Mix the tomato paste with salt and finely cut basil. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil, put circles of dough on it. Grease the dough with a mixture of tomato paste, put finely chopped ham on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake smazhenka in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for 20 minutes.
